Hi there!

I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, in the great nation of, the United States of America. I decided to accept Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior in the year of 1976. (I was living on the college campus, at that time.)

Hallelujah to Jesus! It was the best decision that I have ever made in my life! I just love…love…love…living for Jesus! It’s His Good Pleasure, that I seek, above all else. 

I am a member (since my birth) of St. Luke Church of God in Christ, located at 914 N. Orleans, in Chicago, Illinois 60610. (312) 266-7258.

My pastor is: Bishop James C. Austin, SR. – Prelate of the 5th Illinois Jurisdiction – East (Of the Church of God in Christ.)  Our church motto is: Reaching Up to God; In to Each Other; Out to the World. I love that adage; and, it expresses the sentiment of my heart. 

I am so blessed by God, to have a large and loving family! The Land-Grady Family!
I thank God for my family, as well as my many dear friends, and loved-ones. And, I hereby proclaim myself to be a friend to all of you, whom the Lord will connect me to, as a result of the beautiful gospel lyrics, in my book, (SPARKS OF LYRICAL TRUTHS IGNITING) that He has imparted to me, to share with the world. Hence, I thank God for each of you…my ‘new dear friends’, also!  

Now…below, is a little writing depicting me that I wrote in the 1980’s. (After the Chicago Bears won the Super Bowl.)

I say, I’m B.D. Grady and I’m living right
Not only at daytime, but even at night
I’m out to win souls, that’s my calling
I’ve got to keep busy, without any stalling
I’m for real; going to church is my life
My husband Dwight, tells me, I’m a “good wife”
I’m always doing things to try and please
The main thing is, I’m going to stay on my knees
So try and See Jesus, without any trouble
I’m just here, doing the ‘Get Right Shuffle’
